Lorne Hill Farm is in the village of East Garston, in the Lambourn Valley, Berkshire.
Our Caravan Club certified location has been open since May 2007.

Local Items of Interest

We have craft and quilting workshops at the farm throughout the year. Please see the schedule for details.

Glebe House Stables, belonging to Pat Murphy, is just up the road.
Strings of up to six racehorses are likely to go up to the gallops from about 6:00am to 8.30am, Monday to Saturday.
Smaller groups of horses go up and down School Lane at all times of day.

Eating Out in the area

There are various places you can eat or go out for a drink in the Valley.
Closest is The Queen’s Arms in East Garston, The Plough at Eastbury and The Swan at Great Shefford.
In Lambourn there is an Indian restaurant and Take Away and a Fish and Chip Shop.
There are pubs, restaurants and Take Aways in Hungerford and Wantage.

Local Amenities

In East Garston there is a shop (open 9am to 7.00pm, Mon to Sat) and more shops, including a Co-Op, in Lambourn. The nearest supermarkets are Somerfield or Co-Op in Hungerford and Waitrose in Wantage.

You can purchase fresh eggs (80p for 6) and other garden produce (cucumbers, courgettes, marrows, tomatoes etc.) when available, from the house.

Please use the recycling facilities on-site.

In East Garston there is the C of E church and Friends Meeting House. There are Catholic and Baptist churches in Lambourn.

There are Doctor and Dentist surgeries in Lambourn.
