July 2010

  • Bead Weaving on hand-held looms with Amanda Bond
    21st July 10.00am to 4.00pm - £30 including farmhouse lunch

Learn how to weave beaded strips that can be made into bracelets, chokers or bookmarks.

The bead work is similar to the Indian and Native American beadwork which has always been so popular, and it is very rewarding to create it yourself.
You can make up your own design or use cross-stitch patterns as guide.  Though intricate, It’s easy, fun and you will have made unique accessories that everyone will admire.

  • If you don’t have your own, we have looms available to use in the workshop.

June 2010

  • For those of you not on the mailing list, please see the link above for the Summer workshops schedule - apologies for the delay in getting this added to the website

February 2010

  • Finally we have put together the schedule of workshops leading up to Easter - hope there's something in there which interests you.

  • Any beginners should take particular note of the 'Williams Quilt' workshop which is quilt making with a machine, or the Pitch and Stitch sessions if you would prefer hand-stitching.  We usually recommend making your first quilt by hand because you get to know the terminology etc - but, you can't beat a sewing machine for speeding things up!
Looking forward to hearing from you.
